Time
saving simple clip lock system
These world famous range of Klepper
folding kayaks all use the unique,
simple to use
'Slide and Snap' clip lock assembly, which requires no tools at all. From the
carry bags to the water, on average, takes just 15 minutes!

Options
- Seats
Kayaks are
supplied with Standard Seats. If you plan to paddle long distances,
you may want to consider alternative seat solutions.
The double seater Aerius II 545 have an extra 'solo paddler'
seat fitting roughly in a central position for ideal balance
so that the kayak can be used either as a normal double seater
or as a single seater, whenever you want to. The
kayak does not come standard with a solo paddler back rest -
this item
is
optional
extra (the width is different to the front and rear back rests).

Standard
seat - Seat on rail
Seat and backrest (2 pieces) are standard for your KLEPPER kayak. The seats are
all black and the seat position can be adjusted on the guide rail affixed to
the
keel board.
The back rest/s is secured to fixed positions located on the coaming.
Like the old wooden backrest used in earlier Klepper models, the current
backrests use the same rotary
locks
on
the
ends of the backrest tube to attach to the coaming T-fittings.
Weight
of
seat
and
backrest
is
1,9
kg
(already
included
in
the
weight
of
the
kayak).
When ordering back rests, please indicate which seat position you require. Seat
numbering sequence is that #1 is
at the front. If you require the solo paddler back rest (AEII 520, 545), please
specifically state
this.

Lumbar
support
This additional support can only be used in combination with the standard seat.
It is fixed with belt straps between seat and back rest and can be adjusted at
the desired angle for relief on the lower back and lumbar area.
Not available for Smartline 490 Alu Sprint.

Ergonomic
seat
The ergonomic seat can be adjusted on the rail affixed to the bottom keel and
has a waterproof, inflatable backrest. Weight of seat 1,8 kg (already included
in the weight of boat).
The ergonomic seat cannot be used on Tramp/Scout 380
and Aerius I 450 because the distance between the rail and the boomerang is too
narrow. |

Comfort
seat
The comfort seat is a one piece seat and back. It can be adjusted on the guide
rail affixed to the keel board. The height of the backrest is adjustable
(three
possible
levels) and the angle of the backrest is also adjustable.
The comfort seat is
recommended for children, often used in reversed position, i.e. face to face.
Applied load on the backrest without stabilisation bar: 50 kg max. When using
the stabilisation bar supplied: 70 kg max. |

Seat
boosters
Height boosters for Standard and Comfort seats. Increase
the height of the seat by 3, 6 or 9cm.
The booster for Comfort seats can only fit Comfort seats.
Please specify which type of booster seat you require and
the height.
