What
Is A KLEPPER?
How do you describe the Original KLEPPER folding kayak?
A KLEPPER folding kayak can easily be taken apart and needs very
little storage space. lt is a touring boat that can easily
be transported. Take it out of the boot of your car, assemble
it,
and paddle out.
In about 15 minutes, without tools, you can create a craft which
is suitable in all types of water - river, lake and the sea.
The kayak lasts many decades and is easy to paddle. KLEPPER folding
kayaks are unsinkable because of the integrated air sponsons.
The boat is very
stable and has a very high carrying capacity. Specially designed
high quality KLEPPER sails are also available.
What is the advantage of an Original KLEPPER folding kayak?
To discover the world with a KLEPPER folding kayak is not difficult.
After quick assembly you create a high quality kayak which can
also be used on the "High Seas“ The advantage is obvious.
The KLEPPER folding kayak can be transported either by plane,
car, train or just for a Sunday outing. At home, the kayak can
easily be stored in a cupboard.
KLEPPER Quality
The Original KLEPPER folding kayak is environmentally friendly.
It not only uses mainly natural raw materials but it is also
one of the few products which is mainly produced by hand. KLEPPER
would
not be KLEPPER if the
company did not adhere to the same production standards
which made the company
world famous for its quality and design. Each boat is individually
produced with the
highest quality standards. Because of the high quality materials
used, KLEPPER folding kayaks
are a long term investment. If properly maintained the frame
will last at least
40 years and the hull at least 20 years.
What does an Original KLEPPER folding kayak consist of?
The original KLEPPER folding kayak consists of a frame, which
can be taken apart, and a flexible boat skin. All parts can be
stowed
in one or two carrying bags.
The Frame is made of Iaminated birch and ash and the individual
pieces are then joined by way of patented fasteners. All fasteners
are made from hardened specially treated aluminum.
The Hull is made of specially treated and waterproof
cotton and the bottom part is made of very durable and robust
TPU (thermoplastic
polyurethane) which is about 30% lighter than the CSM. We also
use CSM and PVC.
KLEPPER-Guaranty for 5 years

all original KLEPPER folding kayaks and parts, there is a guarantee
