Klepper Aerius 2000, Mint Green - Ref 104NL

Klepper Aerius 2000, Mint Green - Ref 104NL A nippy short single seater (3.76 x 0.66m) with the same length mid-section as the Aerius I 450 (same washboard fram , boomerang and spraydeck). This model was later improved with some modifications and renamed as the Klepper Tramp,  Scout and latterly as the Marlin 380. This Aerius 2000 model was fitted with an plastic rudder hanger bracket to use with an unique narrow and deep rudder blade. The steering system is a suspended rudder bar with a separate alu footrest. The latter Tramp / Scout / Marlin 380 had reverted to using the common alu rudder hanger bracket and standard issue rudder blades and is still the shortest model being made.  A well looked after kayak with no damage to the hull (4 keelstrips). The Mint Green canvas deck has faded from the sun otherwise the kayak skin is in a good condition. The deck elastics has stretched as expected with age and can be replaced with new. Includes a spray deck and waist skirt, both in very good condition apart from the waist skirt's elastic needs to be shortened to fit tightly on the cockpit rim. Comes with a mint green long rucksack type backpack - in good condition. There is no bag for the kayak's skin. Includes a wooden two part wooden paddle.
