Klepper Aerius II Classic 520, Blue (H. S. Walther GmbH) - Ref 040MS
Complete with frame, skin, spray deck, waist skirts, and steering system. Produced during the early 1980's when Klepper was being produced under license by H. S. Walther GmbH. Identified by the hexagonal Klepper logo.

This particular frame has the long plywood covered floorboard version, intended for sailing purposes, unlike the more common ladder like floorboards (panels with gaps).

The frame is in a very immaculate condition. The pole rubber seats is of the newer black version, all in very good condition and will not need to be replaced for a long time..

The hull of the kayak skin shows no abrasive marks. There are 4 x 6cm wide keel strips which appears to have been added at some point after the original kayak purchase in the Netherlands - these keel strips are peeling on the edges and needs re-gluing (we will fix this). The bow and stern end caps have "perished" (bubbled from heat?) but appears to not to need replacing at the present time.

The spray deck is of the clip on type, with all clips intact. Some sealing tape has come off, just needs re-gluing. The waist skirts are in excellent condition, showing no signs of usage.

Includes full steering system - rudder and pedals. The steering cables is plastic coated in fair condition

This kayak has been well looked after, giving the appearance that it has hardly been used.

Two original packing bags - long frame bag and the skin 'backpack' bag are both in excellent condition. The owner used a separate nylon bag as the third bag to hold the small frame parts, and the steering system.
