About Our Kayaks
We offer a small fleet of Olive Green Klepper AEII Commando (Mk13 NATO) kayaks, previously used by the UKSF - SBS, SAS, and Royal Marine Commandos. These kayaks are perfect for film prop hire in documentaries, TV series, and major films, as well as for qualified and experienced ex-military historical recreation / re-enactment groups and for veteran PTSD support groups.

Two main versions available - Military / Civilian
The military-specification Klepper AEII 520 'Commando' (Mk13 NATO) kayaks differ from other mil spec and civilian versions. While civilian kayaks typically are issued with plain varnished frames and standard pair of sponsons (still looks mostly identical externally), the NATO Mk13 Kleppers feature black varnished frames with 'Braille' markers and Quattro sponsons. We offer both versions for hire should you require more kayaks than we actually have of the NATO Mk13 version.

A single seater version Klepper AEI 450 'Commando' Olive is also available. Fully Functional Fleet
Our Klepper kayak hire fleet is fully operational (fit for purpose) and most includes steering sets, spray decks, and waist skirts. Additionally, the original green-painted wooden two-piece paddles issued with the mil-spec kayaks are available for hire.

Actual Usage Hire

Experienced Guides
For safety and authenticity, we require that Directing Staff or Paddle Group Leaders guiding paddlers with our kayaks be suitably qualified and have had sufficient practical experience in using Kleppers off-shore. If you do not have such qualified guides, we can recommend independent specialist guides who can be separately contracted by yourselves to be on-site as needed.

Booking Information
- Intent to Reserve. To aid long term planning on both sides and to ensure success of your project, you can request a provisional reservation in advance without needing to place a deposit. (First come, First serve).
- Reservation Notice: A minimum of 4 weeks' notice and an advance deposit for each boat is required for reservations.
- Large Fleet Requests: For large fleets, please contact us at least 6 weeks in advance to ensure we can arrange additional kayaks if necessary.
- Minimum quantity: Three kayaks, unless its for a major film involving just one kayak Official PTSD Recovery Groups / Programs requiring less than 3 kayaks, may discuss their needs with ourselves.
